04.08.2011 17:43Looking for a Roommate in Recovery to Share 2BD/1.5BA in W AVLNot sure if this is an appropriate venue or not, but I'm looking for a roommate in recovery (with at least a year or more clean) to share a large 2 Bedroom, 1.5 Bathroom Apartment in The Meadows. The apartment is AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY!
The Second Bedroom is 11 x 11 square feet - pretty big for a second bedroom. Your part of the rent would be $325/month plus half of utilities, which includes electricity, wifi/basic cable, washer/dryer rental. All in all (rent +utilities), it usually comes out to $450 - $500 per month.
Apt is located in the Meadows, Phase II, Marigold. The Meadows is located right off Old Leicester Highway (which is right off Patton). They will do a background check, and you will have to do your own deposit with them, which could range anywhere form $0 - 1 months rent.
I'm a 30 year old gay white male. I'm a professional with a steady job - laidback, responsible, and easy to get along with. I like to have fun but live a pretty quiet lifestyle. I'm a smoker but only smoke outside or on the porch. I have been clean for 4 1/2 years, am active in the NA fellowship, attend 4-5 meetings per week, have a sponsor who has a sponsor, etc.
I'm looking for a roommates who is between 27 - 45 years old, either male or female. Must be employed, have a steady job, and be in recovery with at least a year clean. Not looking for a roomie with a dog but a cat could be ok (the apt complex will charge extra fees for the pet though). Smokers are fine but not in apartment. One other thing - my lease starts in August and goes for a year. I'm generally looking for a roommate who could see themselves staying a year. All in all, I'm just looking for somebody who is chill, drama- and drug-free, sane, pays their bills on-time, and, if at all possible, is fun!
